No PDFWriter, No "Save as PDF"!!! Under Windows, >print to the printer / driver instance associated with the Distiller >Assistant (Acrobat 3) ================================================== Why do you suggest Distiller Assistant as the preferred PPD for Acrobat 3? I always thought the Acrobat Distiller 3.x PPD worked better than Distiller Assistant, which many people (me included) remove because it's irritating, and they don't use watched folders. In fact, I seem to recall having a problem early on with producing PDF using Distiller Assistant, and Adobe Tech Support advised me to use Acrobat Distiller 3.x instead. That cleared up the problem. ==================== | Nullius in Verba | ==================== Dan Emory, Dan Emory & Associates FrameMaker/FrameMaker+SGML Document Design & Database Publishing Voice/Fax: 949-722-8971 E-Mail: danemory@primenet.com 10044 Adams Ave. #208, Huntington Beach, CA 92646 ---Subscribe to the "Free Framers" list by sending a message to majordomo@omsys.com with "subscribe framers" (no quotes) in the body. ** To unsubscribe, send a message to majordomo@omsys.com ** ** with "unsubscribe framers" (no quotes) in the body. **
