Jay, It seems to me that FrameMaker is very committed to the WYSIWYG ethic. So, you can in general display something and print it, or you can hide it for both display and print. I haven't messed around with colors much, but the dialogs seems to match this general pattern. In that case, you'd be leaving that "Don't Print" color visible for reviewers and then turning it off (much as we turn off a big "Draft" watermark) before actual print publication.
