Exchange error message RE: Comic Sans MS - font

Hi Dov,

I ran into the very same error message but under a completely different set
of circumstances and I am wondering if the fix you mentioned below will take
care of this problem as well.

o   I created a Japanese PDF file with Distiller 3.02 under NT4-J from
FM5.5.6.  QMS driver, not AdobePS.  Embedded all fonts.

o   The file contains mostly Japanese with a few phrases in English.

o   Under NT4-English, I attempted to edit an ENGLISH phrase in the file
using Exchange.  The font was Helvetica, which is definitely on my system
(in the fonts directories under both NT4-E and NT4-J), and which was used to
create the FM file in the first place.

o   Same error message.

I do not get this error message when editing an English-only PDF file,
created under NT4-E.
Since I am not using the AdobePS driver, what is causing this?

BTW, I worked around the problem by editing the FM file, reprinting to PS
and redistiling, but it would have been a lot faster to be able to do an
on-the-fly edit in the PDF file.
