Linda, What first comes to mind is using FrameScript to print whatever files you need (for example, all the FM files in a directory) to PS files. If you have Distiller set up to use Watched Folders, the PS files will automatically Distiller themselves into PS. I have not used FrameScript to do printing, so I do not know any details of controlling the print dialog. You might have to make sure that your system's default printer is temporarily set to the Distiller driver. (You did not say what platform you are on; I am speaking of FM 5.5.x on Win95/98 -- and I guess now on Mac).
