I'm sending this again, since the first post was nearly illegible with all the "=20" in it. Haven't found a way around THAT except to put hard returns in all my emails to this list... which is the only place it seems to happen (and yes, I AM sending plain text). Also, the only answer I got back was from someone who seemed to think I was talking about an Acrobat PDF. The problem was with a hard printed document on a Xerox Docutech, not a PDF... I'd really be grateful for any thoughts from the pros... =========================================== I just printed a software manual to a Docutech (delivered the PS files to a printer who ran the job). In the past this has worked well for me, but this time I ran into a couple of problems: 1) I have a diagram that I created in Visio and saved as a .WMF; it looks okay except for text with bullets (text created in Visio, not FM). The bullets show up as a lower case "y". The font is TrueType Arial. 2. There is an appendix for which I created a set of rotated master pages (one for left, one for right). The pages contain tables. The right-hand page printed fine but the left-hand page printed too high on the page, cutting off the header and part of the table. This was the only page in the entire manual that did this am wondering if the Docutech itself could have printed this improperly). The document was printed to a size of 7 x 8.5 inches using FrameMaker 5.5.6 on a Windows 95 platform. TIA for any solutions...!
