Not only does it open a huge number of file formats, it can convert to many popular formats (though not as many as it opens). And it opens files that other image editors report as corrupted. And it will do batch conversions. Convert one manually, then set Graphic Converter lose on a folder full of images and it will repeat the same actions on the whole lot. And it's quick. It's shareware so you can pull it down and start working with it today, and pay the shareware fee when you get a few spare minutes.
