"Futzing" with the CTRL-D settings won't help you if what you are trying to do is effectively "concatenate" PostScript jobs. Such concatenation, besides not being kosher, may have some additional side effects, such as print job failure. Furthermore, each of the individual jobs has a "setpagedevice" command which effectively causes the PostScript imaging machinery to reset and begin on a new sheet of paper, regardless of the previous duplexing settings.
