Arrow heads - inconsistent behaviour

Hi all.

[FM 5.5.3/Win 95]

I am having a problem with arrow heads on lines drawn using the line tool.
The heads are a custom setting: 75°/16°/5 pt.

Sometimes, the arrow heads are visibly "snubbed" -- the tips are missing --
onscreen but they print fine.  Other times, the arrow heads look fine but
print snubbed.

Bloody hell, this is driving me mental.  Anyone have any ideas???
