So it's more work for those who might like to read what you wrote. And if they do put something in the subject line, it's often not the same as was in the original so it doesn't get picked up in the nifty procedure below. Like Jeremy I use filters to sort everything neatly into multiple mailboxes - without them, managing list mail from even two or three lists would be a nightmare of confusion, not to mention enormously time consuming. Another nice thing about the regular mail (besides the speed of arrival and timeliness of replies) is that you can (Eudora, Mac) Option-click on the subject line of a message and Eudora puts all of the messages together in order of arrival and highlights them. Hit the enter key and they all open with the original post on top to be read first and the rest in chronological order of arrival. Allows you to follow threads very easily. There is likely the same feature on Eudora for Windows, although I have not used mine for more than three years so don't recall. I'd agree with Jeremy that using a mail client that will sort your mail is the easiest and most productive approach to use. Of the 150+ so mail messages that arrive every day, only about 10 are in my IN BOX after the filters are done sorting and distributing it. The 10 get read and the list mail gets looked at depending on time and interest.
