changing page breaks when creating ps from book

Hello Framers,

I wonder if anyone has had the same problem:

we publish a book with 17 chapter files in it. Before we print it to ps
and pdf, we check the correct breaking of all pages in every chapter.
When we print to ps and pdf, the resulting file often has different page
breaks than the ones we set. this is very bothersome since it means we
have to recheck all our fm files everytime we update our ps and pdfs.

Any suggestions are appreciated!
