The two most likely causes: - the widow/orphan rows setting in Table Designer being too large (if it is more than 1/2 the total number of rows, the table will *never* break, and if it specifies more rows than will fit on your first page, it will suppress the break in your situation) - the paragraph containing the table anchor has pagination properties set to Keep with Next, or the following paragraph is set to Keep with Previous. Either condition forces Frame to try to keep the two paragraph marks together even if a large table appears in between them.

I have a table that needs to start in the middle of one page and continue to the next page. But I can't get the table to start in the middle of the page. In the Table Designer, the table is set to start "Anywhere." I know that FrameMaker will not allow a row to break across pages, but the rows in this table are all only one line, so that isn't a problem. Any ideas what could be wrong? (I'm using FrameMaker 7.1.)
