Greetings-I am posting this query after trying to find answers through various sites, none of which specifically address my problem. Short summary: We have a very large engineering drawing (in PDF) that we've tried to use in Frame. Creating a 3 foot by 4 foot Frame file is not impossible, but it's not practical. Our goal is to put in a scaled down version of the drawing in Frame with a link to the full sized drawing. I drew a text frame around the graphic and then tried inserting a hypertext marker with the following attributes: openlink cablingdiagram.pdf:cable The cablingdiagram.pdf file resides in the same directory as the Frame file I am trying to create the link in. Unfortunately, I cannot get the command to work. Each time I try to use the command, Frame tells me it is looking for a Frame file. I also tried the gotolink command with the same results. Is it possible to create a link to a file that is not a FrameMaker file such as the PDF file I am using? I checked my resources for these commands and I thought it was possible, but I may be mistaken. Any help or solutions would be greatly appreciated.
