Hi Folks, Below is a summary of the suggestions offered for fixing the "printing thumbnails" problem. Rebooting fixed the problem, in this case. Other solutions fixed the problem for other reasons. Thanks very much, Sharon Problem: A friend of mine is printing a FM document and the 8.5 x 11 page is printing the size of a thumbnail. The Thumbnail setting is unchecked. It is happening in multiple documents that have printed OK before. Solutions: sharon.bradshaw@dothill.com I suggested that Dennis, my pal, reboot his computer. That fixed the problem. Now he can have a care-free weekend. Thanks to all that offered suggestions. Bob Goulder [bob.goulder@virgin.net] I get the same problem at work where I am using FM SGML on Win 2000 despite all the settings being correct. A re-boot is the only answer I have found to sort it out. Dov Isaacs [isaacs@adobe.com] Does this happen with ALL applications or just FrameMaker? The PostScript driver or something else? Short of the FrameMaker thumbnails setting, the PostScript driver's scaling, and maybe even the PostScript driver's n-up feature, I have no further ideas of what the problem could be. In any case, get answers to my two questions above. - Dov Check your print driver settings. Normally, it is set for 100%, but it may have been changed somehow. - Dov Shepard, Cynthia [cshepard@water.ca.gov] This happened to me the other day. I had the document at about 25% so I could see a number of pages on the screen...when I enlarged to 100%, it printed properly...go figure.. ___________________________ L.
