Be very careful. I followed the instructions given last Friday to uninstall the version 9.75 driver, NOT reboot, and reinstall the version 9.73 driver on my Win2K machine. After rebooting, my system refused all keyboard and mouse input. Then a very bizarre series of events happened, culminating in my having to reformat my harddrive, reinstall Win2K, and restore my drive contents from my tape backup. I've been down for 2.5 days and have amassed an IT technician bill that is staggering. The sad thing is that although it would have been nice to have my mouse's scroll feature back, it wasn't necessary.
