That probably explains why I also find my table footnotes occasionally
overprinting body text in the column adjacent to the table... I had to give
up on footnotes in one document, and just put the content in a straddled row
across the bottom of the table.

... FM gets confused about where the table ends, and puts the table title in
between two rows.

It's undoubtedly the weirdest thing I've seen in FM...
