If you have a USB keyboard, you can always unplug it for a few seconds. One of the nice things about USB, I never worry about hot-plugging. -- Larry Kollar, Senior Technical Writer, ARRIS "Content creators are the engine that drives value in the information life cycle." -- Barry Schaeffer, on XML-Doc Dennis Hays <dhays@haysdesign.com> Sent by: owner-framers@omsys.com 02/06/03 06:48 PM Please respond to Dennis Hays To: framers@omsys.com, framers@frameusers.com, "Gerhard Alfes (mediaService)" <gerdalf@media-service.tv> cc: Subject: Re[2]: unpossible? was: RE: Can't type the letter j Hello , Also, make certain you are not using some program that stores keyboard macros (I use Iolo Macro Magic). Another possible answer are keyboards that allow you to remap keys or create keyboard macros. The older Gateway keyboards used to do this (check and see if you have any keys along the top right side that say "Store" or "Record"). Some of the newer multi-media keyboards do this as well. But, like Hedley said, try a cold boot---completely power down, wait a few seconds and then bring the system back up.
