With all due respect, your "system admin" is not being candid with you. Installing a PostScript printer driver instance using the Adobe Universal PostScript Driver Installer (downloadable from Adobe's web site) and associating it with the Acrobat Distiller PPD will not affect any other user. Sounds more like he just doesn't want to be bothered. - Dov At 11/7/2002 03:01 AM, Catherine Brys wrote: >Hi Dov, > >You wrote: >"Otherwise, you need to create a >PostScript driver printer instance using the Acrobat Distiller PPD >(using the latest Adobe Universal Windows PostScript Driver Installer >downloadable from Adobe's web site) AND then properly setup the driver >to print to the "FILE:" port." > >Unfortunately, this problem is still dragging on. I passed your information to our system admin. He says he cannot change the printer driver because that would affect all other users. Is this right?
