Hello, Has anyone heard of the option "maker -nosplash" option? On some Linux machines, FrameMaker is opening the license window and core dumping: FM is only running on 8 bpp on your screen but your configuration may be 16 or more. Here is a solution you can try on your Linux desktop: Either you type: "maker -nosplash" Or, you add the following line in the file ~/fminit/xresources/Maker : Maker.splashScreen: False Does anyone know where to find out more information about this -nosplash option? Cheers, Johan ** To unsubscribe, send a message to majordomo@omsys.com ** ** with "unsubscribe framers" (no quotes) in the body. **
