From: "Genevieve Roberts" <gen@qrtz.com> > Our graphic artist has created two large, hi-res images, in .eps and .tiff > formats. I could not import these. There are a number of different variants of the EPS and TIFF formats. Not all of them are supporte by FM on all platforms, and some have bugs in different versions of FM. For EPS graphics, you need an included "preview" image for on-screen display, and it needs to be in a supported format. For TIFF graphics, there are some problems in FM7 with certain bit-depths (no. of colors). Perhaps the following two web pages may help you further: http://w1.184.telia.com/~u18407300/postscript/eps.html http://w1.184.telia.com/~u18407300/graphics/graybox.html > I looked in the FM6 Help but can't seem to find a list of supported file > types. Is there such a thing? Or, can someone point me to one somplace else? It's in an online PDF in the FM installation directory. Also see "Unsupported formats" in the second web page above. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Thomas Michanek, FrameMaker/UNIX/MIF expert mailto:Thomas.Michanek@telia.com (Sweden) http://go.to/framers/ - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Join the low-volume "Free Framers" mailing list: send an email to majordomo@omsys.com with "subscribe framers" in the body ** To unsubscribe, send a message to majordomo@omsys.com ** ** with "unsubscribe framers" (no quotes) in the body. **
