We set up a system where we used one for each variant of a book. They contain any formats that differ between print and online versions (para and char and xref formats), variable definitions, conditional text settings, and I forget what else. To update the book, or to switch from one variant to another, just open the associated meta data doc, make any changes necessary (i.e., copyright date), and import formats as needed. -- Ananda ** To unsubscribe, send a message to majordomo@omsys.com ** ** with "unsubscribe framers" (no quotes) in the body. **
