HOWEVER, if you let Distiller "warn and continue" you
can readily end up with a PDF file that is unreadable,
unprintable, ugly (to put it simply), and/or some
combination of these symptoms. 

With regards to font licensing, I will repeat what I
have said repeatedly in this and other venues: If a font
doesn't provide at least "print and preview" embedding
privileges for PDF files in its EULA (end user license
agreement) or it physically prevents such embedding via
flags in the font (TrueType and OpenType only!), then the
font and its license are effectively USELESS to you. 
Just say no to such business practices by choosing other
fonts.

PS: I know that some of you will suggest other hackery
such as having the driver produce "outlines" or "bitmaps"
in lieu of the original font. Those practices not only
are also in violation of the EULA of such fonts, but they
also yield degraded results, often yielding unsearchable
text, readability or printability problems, or some 
combination of these.
