Hello; I have a curious thing happening in my files when I try to import text into documents. Let me explain what I'm doing and I *hope* you can help me figure out what I'm doing wrong. I have 3 files: 01intro.fm 02widget.fm 03wingnut.fm 01intro.fm is the "master" file. In succession, it imports the other two files. Everything looks great, except for the cross-references. When 02widget.fm and 03wingnut.fm are imported into the "master" 01intro.fm file, the internal cross-references that SHOULD read: * Remove Old Widget (Optional) * Install New Widget (Required) Instead read: * Remove Old Wingnut (Optional) * Install New Wingnut (Optional) In other words, the master file is pulling the cross-references from the WRONG set of inserted text. If I double-click on the imported text and say "Update Now", it corrects itself. However, once I save/close the file and re-open it, the problem is back to where I started. In fact, when I import additonalfiles into the master file, ALL of the imported text refers to the same, 'widget' instructions. This is very perplexing and I've tried it in both Frame 5.5.6 and Frame 6.0. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated!!! Thank you! Val Swisher P.S. Please tell Frame to ignore any missing graphics when you open the attachments. Thanks again.
