OT: Acrobat Reader Upgrade

Is it possible to upgrade Reader only when a lower version of full Acrobat
is installed? I have Acrobat 4.0 installed (Win 98, FM 5.5) and am trying to
upgrade just the Reader to 5.05 via download from the Adobe web site. But
all that happens when I click to start the download is that I get a blank
web screen with a small icon of a box with a red square, green circle and
blue triangle in the upper left corner, and "Done" in the message bar at the
bottom. Am I doing something wrong?
