Version 5.5.3 is 4.5 years old and plagued with bugs. > "FrameMaker no longer crashes when you work in a document that has footnotes > or table footnotes where the footnote reference is set to the baseline > position and has a character or paragraph format applied to it." It means that the footnote numbers in the text are not superscripted like footnotes normally are. Put the cursor in a table and check this in Format>Document>Footnote properties. Check the Position setting: it should be Superscript, not Baseline. Also make sure you're not using a character tag to format your footnote numbers to be superscripted. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Thomas Michanek, FrameMaker/UNIX/MIF expert Technical Writer, Uppsala, Sweden mailto:Thomas.Michanek@telia.com http://go.to/framers/ - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ** To unsubscribe, send a message to majordomo@omsys.com ** ** with "unsubscribe framers" (no quotes) in the body. **
