Search in your Framemaker .ini file for "DisplayUsingPrinterMetrics=Off" and read the text just above it, then make the appropriate change. The kerning metrics work a little bit differently, and the printer may be a better bet. But I have completely forgotten how to do this, and my search through the menus reveals no such choice.
