RE: Opening a PDF document from a program

If I remember correctly, this is possible only if you open the PDF within a
web browser. I think this is described somewhere on Adobe.com.

Sorry for not being too helpful, I have never tried this.

Subject: Opening a PDF document from a program

All:

A programmer just asked me if it was possible to request Acrobat to open a
document at a particular page from an application. I searched the
PlanetPDF archives, Acrobat help, and the Acrobat PDF Bible, but could find
no mention of the topic.

I assume you can create a named destination with a newlink command in a
Hyperlink marker. But how do you call the page from a program, say, by
pressing the F1 key in a dialogue? (Shlomo, are you reading ... ?)
