Updating figure numbers in anchored frames

Hello,

Inside a single anchored frame, I have placed two separate
graphics, "Figure 3-1" and "Figure 3-2". Each figure
has its own caption.

Because I want the figure numbers to update automatically,
I inserted each Figure caption within a text box (within
the same anchored frame).

However, I have run into a problem. Both figures now
update as Figure 3-1. That is, I have two Figure 3-1s.

Can someone explain to me why this is so and how to
correct it so that Figure 3-2 updates as Figure 3-2?
