Hi Lee, We once had a similarly bizarre problem with the backtick character ( ` unshifted ~). Everything else printed fine, *except* the backtick -- and since that character changed the meaning of the text (scripting code), it was critical that we get it to print correctly. We had been sending raw Postscript files to the printer, at their request. The problem went away only after we were able to convince them to take PDF files. We finally decided it was due to memory limitations in the Docutech printer they were using. Are you sending PDFs to the printer? What kind of machine are they using? ...My other thought is that it could be a Mac-to-nonMac font problem....
