Save As PDF doesn't work with FM7 and OS-X, because OS-X doesn't handle the custom printer instance created for Save As PDF. The export menu item for PDF is grayed out because of this.

You can either boot back into OS 9.x for Save As PDF, or print to PDF from OS-X Classic.
