A FrameScript script would be a good solution for this. You could have your list of forbidden words in a FrameMaker file or text file. The script would read in the list of words and find them in your book or document. The script could work interactively, taking you to each occurence. Or, the script could apply a character format to each word to make it easy to find. It could also make a hypertexted list of the words (like an index) so you could click to see each occurence. Rick Quatro Carmen Publishing 585 659-8267 rick@frameexpert.com http://www.frameexpert.com Hi all, I have a list of "forbidden" words that are not supposed to be included in our set of documentation. However, I am not sure how to check this list against the FM files. I just don't want to perform a search for each forbidden word for each release of the documentation. Is it possible somehow to create a personal dictionary that would find these forbidden words, although they are correctly spelled? Can I use the Find/Change dialog to find words from a file instead of the single word that I type in the Find box? Other strategies? Any suggestions/solutions are highly appreciated.
