I'll skip the rest of the discussion, but in answer to #4, both WebWorks Publisher and MIF2GO are way more reliable, customizable, and configurable. I believe that both have demos; the WWP demo is good for 15 days, which is just enough for you to figure out that it's going to take more than 15 days to learn it.
