Assuming your in-chapter table numbering is working; that the chapnum is showing up in your tables properly.... the problem is likely to be how your list of tables is formatted. Open the list of tables file and View> Reference pages. Scroll down to the List of Tables Specifications and confirm that the entry for Table Title (or whatever tag name you're using) looks something like this: <$paranum> <$paratext> <$pagenum> (in mine, there's a Tab between the <$paranum> and <$paratext>, but that doesn't translate into email well. Save the LOT and update the book. If the in-chapter numbering isn't working... let us know. ;-) A. For TableTitle and TableTitleLOT, I've defined the Autonumber Format (Numbering tab) as: T:Table <$chapnum>.<n+>: When I generate a list of tables, it looks like this: Table 1.1: EDI Function Setup Suggestions............1.5 Table 1:2: Data Sets.................................2.2 Table 1.3: Export Format Data Types..................3.5 Table 1:4: UNI-FORM Export Format Data Types.........4.22 Table 1:5: M****age Loan Module X12#1093.............5.7 Table 1:6: Phone Numbers.............................A.10 Table 1:7: Available Code Values for Decoding........B.11 I WANT IT TO LOOK LIKE THIS: Table 1.1: EDI Function Setup Suggestions............1.5 Table 2:2: Data Sets.................................2.2 Table 3.3: Export Format Data Types..................3.5 Table 4:4: UNI-FORM Export Format Data Types.........4.22 Table 5:5: M****age Loan Module X12#1093.............5.7 Table A:6: Phone Numbers.............................A.10 Table B:7: Available Code Values for Decoding........B.11 Paragraph numbering is set to restart for each chapter/appendix. Do I need to alter the autonumbering format for TableTitle and/or TableTitleLOT or is there a variable that I can use?? TIS Jane E.
