If your already using scripts to set the master pages, have the script first set all pages to left/right then apply the required master pages. The remaining left/right pages will then disappear on save. That will work if your Master page application is based on paragraphs or other bodypage elements. If each different type of document requires different left/right pages for all pages, then why not have multiple templates? Your scripts should identify the type of document and then import the correct template file. I actually found it's more reliable to import the file into the template and then save over the file. You might actually see a savings in disk space with multiple templates depending on the complexity of your master pages. A small graphic multiplied hundreds of times located on a master page that is rarely used can really add up. Another approach is to script the removal of empty pages. Eric L.
