FrameMaker originated on UNIX, where Ctrl-c often interrupts a process.  I
don't have any time-consuming task to do at the moment on which to test
this theory but you find that it works.  (Like, Ctrl-l [ell] is a standard
UNIX method of refreshing a console or window.)
