Em dash font spacing problem

Hi all,

This is my first message to this list. I've been lurking for a few months
and learning a lot.

I am having troubles with the spacing before and after an em dash in a
paragraph. With certain fonts (Palatino, Times, others) the em dash spacing
is off; sometimes the dash lays on top of the first letter in the next word.


I have Frame 5.5.6 and Frame 6 - I'm having the same problem in both
versions.

I'd appreciate any help I can get to resolve this problem. Thanks!
