All: Cross-references can change from Paragraph to Cross-Reference Markers in the Cross-Reference dialog when the original paragraph format of the target paragraph is changed. For example, suppose you inserted a cross-reference to a Heading 2 paragraph but later demoted it to Heading 2. The cross-reference is still looking for a Heading 1 para and, in the Cross-Reference dialogue, will change the Source Type to Cross-Reference Markers. The cross-reference should still work correctly, however. [Is that confusing enough? If not, I can work on it. 8^) ] Regards, Hedley -- Hedley Finger Technical Communications/Technical communicator and FrameMaker mentor MYOB Australia <http://www.myob.com.au/> P.O. box 371 Blackburn VIC 3130 Australia <mailto:hedley_finger@myob.com.au> Tel. +61 3 9894 0945 Mob. +61 412 461 558 ** To unsubscribe, send a message to majordomo@omsys.com ** ** with "unsubscribe framers" (no quotes) in the body. **
