You might copy your anchored frame to a temporary file,
then `print-to-file' (resulting in a postscript file)
then ps2gif or some other graphic utility. Maybe look
in http://www.w3.org/Tools/Word_proc_filters.html
(It's a big Frame advantage to have all the layout features
available in a text frame within a graphic; not sure
how else to separate them.)
<snip>
The case is this : in the FM original exporting (FM 5.5.3), everything
within an anchored frame was converted to GIF or JPEG. This included even
complete text blocks -- which, among other things, helps publishing texts
filled with exotic characters.
With WWP, this seems to work only when the text is off-block, which means
only one line at a time. And, very often, rich text is flattened to Courier.
