While this may be "silly" if referring to a Xerox laser printer then fine. But seeing as the topic is discusing Phasers, it's right on the money. The TekPhasers (and no doubt their Xerox equivalents) use wax sticks that produce output that can be scratched of the paper with a fingernail. Eric L.
