Converting from Frame to Word or rtf

I am having problems converting any Frame docs (5.3 to 6.0) into Word 6 or
rtf formats. I have tried taking out all graphics to reduce the file size,
but Frame keeps freezing and the convert-to program gives me error messages.
I can save in mif. Does anyone else have this problem and/or a solution to
it?
