RE: off topic: software tutorial development tools

Well, umm. Guess I should read *all* my email before I start making
noise... The company I work for just bought ICESoft, a Norwegian company,
and dang does their main product sound interesting....

<from the press release; see www.windriver.com for details>

About ICE Browser
The ICE Browser, ICESoft's flagship product, was first developed in Bergen
by the core development team led by Jeremy Cook, co-founder of ICESoft. The
XML-based browser is written in the Java programming language, and can be
integrated into any Java application. Because of its compact size,
standards support, ease of use, stability, robustness, and rich feature
set, demand for ICE Browser quickly grew. The most recent revision, ICE
Browser 5.0 supports the latest in web standards, including XML 1.0, HTML
4.0, and JavaScript 1.1, and is fully e-business capable.

ICE Browser 5's features include:

HTML 3.2
HTML 4.0
XML 1.0
CSS 1 & 2
DOM 1 (parts of DOM 2)
JavaScript 1.4
Applets
HTTP 1.1
Cookies
Proxies
Redirects
Authentication
Multimedia (requires JMF 1.1)

Anyone know anything more about this than what's on the web site?
(My next email is to someone in sales....)

proving life in a big company is full of surprises,
