From: "John Stewart"'s original message on FramersHave you considered saving to HTML as an intermediary format?

I've had some luck doing this. I save the chapter file to HTML
and then either:
A. run the "strip tags" function in my favourite HTML editor to get
a really bare-bones text-only document or
B. load the HTML file into Netscape 4.7 and then save it as text
Option B actually works pretty well, preserving centered lines, bullets, indents, etc. in the text file.
