Notice Announcement for a single-sourcing methodology class follows. ******************************************************************** Do you single-source? You probably do if you **create print documents and help files **create print documents and online files (e.g., HTML or PDF) **translate one document into many languages **have multiple versions of something with some overlapping information **create documents on-the-fly from a database of information Most of us tend to focus on what tools we need to single-source but, unfortunately, we really need to focus on the structure of the information first, then we pick the right tools for the job. At Simply Written, we've been single-sourcing for about 5 years (before we knew what it was called) and we've developed a writing methodology that works regardless of the tools used. We now teach both public and private classes on this methodology and wanted to let you know. If you would like more information, please give us a call or send me an email. We've also posted class Fact Sheets on our website if you would like to take a look at them (www.simplywritten.com). Looking forward to serving you Jerilynne Sander, FrameMaker A.C.E.
