How can I > convert those body rows to headers that repeat from page to page? You cannot convert them directly. Select Table > Add Rows or Columns, then select "Add 1 row: To Heading" in the dialog. When you get the new, empty heading row, copy the body row and paste it into the heading row. > This ought to be a "read the book" question, but I have been through the manual > several times and I find a lot of information about what to do with header rows, > how to edit them etc. but nothing about how they get set up in the first place. > I will be grateful to anyone who can point me to the right answer. Get a copy of "FrameMaker for Dummies". It's on top of page 109 :-) I cannot find the same info in the ordinary 5.5 User Guide... BTW, the number of heading and body rows in a table is set when you first insert the table (see Table > Insert Table). If you don't spacify any heading rows then, you'll have to use the method I described above. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Thomas Michanek, [Michagon], Linkoping, Sweden FrameMaker/UNIX/MIF/scripting expert EMAIL: mailto:Thomas.Michanek@telia.com WWW: http://go.to/framers , or go directly to: http://w1.133.telia.com/~u13304072/framers * U P D A T E D O N J U N E 2 6 * - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Join the "Free Framers" mailing list: send the message "subscribe framers" to majordomo@omsys.com [I'm no longer part of the FrameUsers mailing list] ** To unsubscribe, send a message to majordomo@omsys.com ** ** with "unsubscribe framers" (no quotes) in the body. **
