I'd really like to recommend mif2go from Omni Systems (www.omsys.com). I confess to being a friend of Jeremy's (he wrote the program and runs this site), but my enthusiasm for the product is based on my excellent experiences with it. After you install it, mif2go turns up on your File menu in FrameMaker. You can use it to save your FrameMaker file as 1) RTF for print Word 2) RTF with special hooks for WinHelp or 3) HTML. I think he's got XML in the works, too. If you want WinHelp, you export to the "special" RTF and then feed that RTF directly to the WinHelp compiler, which is free from Microsoft. You have full control over how the help file looks and acts from within FrameMaker. I've used mif2go and I love it. It's $295 a seat, and gives you excellent HTML output and Word output as well. Of course, it's only on Windows at the moment. You didn't say what platform you were on. cheers Rhea Tolman Colin Green wrote: > Framers, > > I'm seeking recommendations for a Help tool that works well with Frame. > > Thanks, > > Colin > > ** To unsubscribe, send a message to majordomo@omsys.com ** > ** with "unsubscribe framers" (no quotes) in the body. ** ** To unsubscribe, send a message to majordomo@omsys.com ** ** with "unsubscribe framers" (no quotes) in the body. **
