Old VP Conversion Problem

Hi:

Apologies if this is off subject.

Client is updating very out-of-date documents. First step is to import old
Ventura Publisher 4.x files into Frame. All is going fairly well except one
file which differs from all the rest in that it is loaded with medium to
H-U-G-E figures built in VP's equation editor. The file will NOT come into
Frame, and I am blaming the equations. Does anyone know of some workaround
to having to a) delete the equations in VP, b) import the chapter, and c)
recreate the dozens of equations in Frame? Perhaps a utility, or something
you might have run across in your travels? Any help appreciated. Neither
Adobe nor Corel is interested in supporting this problem.
