I find features like this really useful for clearing dialog boxes (or parts thereof) when using the Macro feature under FM UNIX (but it should be configurable to user taste). 

Isn't it amazing how putting quotes around a word like "feature" just make it drip with sarcasm?

this particular "Feature"  as frustrating as you do.
