Name me another software company putting on a big presence
at a major trade show that would refuse to talk about one
of its products, unless explicit instructions had been
issued from on high that the booth people were not
to talk about it even when asked.

Perhaps Adobe needs to change its logo from the letter
A to a graphic depicting a snake with forked tongue.
Either that, or we should interpret the letter A
in the logo to be the Scarlet Letter.

And since Adobe lives in Silicon Valley, they know
that fact very well, which makes the behavior you
described at MacWorld in their own backyard
(San Francisco) even more ominous.
