It's not often that I can say that Dov is wrong, but now it seems to be the case. There *is* indeed a version FM 7.1 p114, which can be delivered in two situations, A and B: (A) If you already got FM 7.1 (the b023 version): Thomas Bro-Rasmussen got the following response from Adobe: 1. Please contact the FrameMaker technical support. If the updated (p114) version of FrameMaker resolves a technical issue that you are currently experiencing, you may be eligible to receive a free (replacement) copy of the updated version. FrameMaker technical support will determine the eligibility. 2. Please look at the option of purchasing the replacement CD set from the link given below - http://www.adobe.com/support/salesdocs/10516.htm (B) If you order the FM 7.1 upgrade for $199 now: As Sheila Carlisle reported: "I just ordered the FM7.1 upgrade from Adobe, but for some incomprehensible reason they shipped the French version <sigh>. When the US/English one arrives, I'll post the version I receive." [...] "FM 7.1p114 arrived today, .exe dated 2/19/2004, fwiw. So yes, I ordered just "7.1 upgrade" and got 7.1p114 by default." I have absolutely no idea what the secrecy is all about, though, and why p114 isn't available as a download for b023 users. Perhaps Dov can clarify after checking with FM technical support? _____________________________________________ Thomas Michanek, FrameMaker/UNIX/MIF expert Technical Communicator, Uppsala, Sweden mailto:Thomas.Michanek@xxxxxxxxx http://go.to/framers/ _____________________________________________ ** To unsubscribe, send a message to majordomo@xxxxxxxxx ** ** with "unsubscribe framers" (no quotes) in the body. **
