First check that you have the preferences for Network file locking
and File Naming are set up correctly according to your wishes and
file system.

Assuming they are correct, the most common reason for your problem
is that the files are located on a network file server, and that
the system clock differs between the server and your computer.
Perhaps you have just changed to/from daylight saving time,
and not all computers have been adjusted in the correct way.
If the time differs between the two systems, FM may believe
the files have been changed later than your own latest save.
