Hi, We use a self-made symbol font (Truetype and Type1 on WinNT). The letter combination XYZ is used to create the company logo. For the colored version of the logo the colors are assigned as follows: X is black Y is blue Z is yellow. Printing this logo on an ink jet printer gives fine results. Creating a PDF, on the other hand, gives different results depending on the colors selected in FrameMaker: If XYZ are all black the logo is complete and appears in black & white. Selecting the logo in the PDF file and pasting it into an ascii editor inserts the three letters XYZ. That's what I'd expect. If XY are black Z is yellow the logo is complete a well and appears in black and yellow. Copying and pasting again comes up with the three letters XYZ. If, however, X is black Y is blue Z is yellow the logo is NOT complete any more. After selecting the logo in the PDF file and pasting it into an ascii editor I only get TWO of the THREE letters: X and Z. The Y is missing. Y? I somehow suspect the font to be the culprit. On the other hand, doing the same thing in WordPad or Word works perfectly. Anybody ever encountered something similar with symbol fonts?
